The Very Best!!!

Hotel Vista Del Mar was absolutely beautiful!! Everyone went out of their way to be as kind, courteous and helpful not only with dinner suggestions and reservations but even to invite us for warm chocolate chip cookies and milk in the evening! We cannot wait to visit the Island again in the near future and will not even consider any other property to lodge!!

What more could you ask for?

We LOVED our weekend stay here!! Fantastic location. Directly across from the beach. It’s a gorgeous hotel. And the best coffee on the island! This was our first time staying at the Hotel Vista Del Mar and it was amazing. The staff is wonderful! The room is comfortable and clean! We will definitely be returning to this hotel again next year!!

Ocean View Suite

This was the perfect place to spend our honeymoon. Being 7 months pregnant and having never been to Catalina before, this hotel was easy access from the ferry building and right along the water. We splurged on the oceanview suite. The huge room came with a jetted tub, fireplace, a huge TV, comfy beds and a quiet view overlooking the beach. Everyone has mentioned the milk and cookies at night, which sealed the deal for us. Plus free continental breakfast? What else do you need? It was the perfect relaxing getaway we needed post-wedding craziness. The hubby and I enjoyed every minute of our two day stay and cannot wait to come back!

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved this hotel. We had the Avalon suite, and it was beautiful. The room was cool when we entered from the heat, which was nice, and a ice cold bottle of sparkling cider ( we don’t imbibe, and let them know before we arrived, thank you for listening!). The bed was so comfortable and we had 3 televisions! The private jacuzzi was definitely an additional plus!! This hotels staff was so meticulous, I even saw the housekeeping dusting the plants. I am a neat freak, and that was impressive. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. We had an hour to kill before our ride out, so we just relaxed in the chairs that overlook the ocean in the open air lobby. Not a bad way to end a quick getaway.
